This past year I had the opportunity to visit the new Nickelodeon Resort Riviera Maya on two separate occasions. The first visit really wowed me with just incredible this resort really is. On my second visit I wondered if I would be just as impressed, only to find that this property was even more amazing then I first remembered. Opened in 2021, the resort has been named by USA Today as the number one family resort destination in the world. Walking the property it is easy to see why. The grounds are beautiful and all of the special touches make it a really unique property. If you have kids into Paw Patrol, Ninja Turtles, Sponge Bob, or anyone else in the Nick family then this is definitely a resort you should consider.
If you’re looking for the ultimate in fun family luxury, check out either the the Lair suite or Pineapple suite. The first being decked out for the Ninja Turtle fans and the Pineapple suite being the ultimate hangout for fans of Sponge Bob. On both of my visits the Lair suite was occupied, I was however able to get a tour of the Pineapple suite and I was just blown away by the attention to detail. And the bonus pineapple clubhouse on the balcony is seriously the best!
